Shrimp is arguably one of the most prominent seafood loved by foodies for its lip smacking taste and soft meaty texture. It finds a distinctive place in the list appetizers as well as main courses across the globe with numerous sweet and savoury delicacies. This recipe is baked version of the traditional Masala Prawn which is quite prevalent in the menu of India's coastal cuisines. So let's get into it....
PREPARATION TIME : 40 - 60 Mins

INGREDIENTS :
- Prawns : 500 gms
- Mustard Oil : 1 tbs
- Salt : 1/2 tbs
- Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tbs
- Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tbs
- Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder : 1/2 tbs
- Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 tbs
- Kasoori Methi : 1 tbs
- Meat Masala : 1/2 tbs
- Besan :1/2 tbs
- Maida : 1 tbs
- Refined Oil : for brushing
- Lemon Juice : 1.5 tbs
STEPS FOR PREPARATION
- Clean the prawns and wash it properly.
- Add some salt and lemon juice and keep it for 10 mins.
- Then after 1st marination add mustard oil , black pepper powder , ginger garlic paste , turmeric powder , coriander powder , red chilli powder , kasoori methi and meat masala , you can also add 2 tbs yogurt to the marination too. Keep it aside for 20-30 mins.
- After the marination add the maida, besan and mix it well.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degree for 10 mins before placing the baking tray.
- Brush the refined oil in the baking tray and arrange the marinated prawns in the tray and place it inside the pre-heated oven at 200 degree for 20 - 25 mins.
- Take it out from the oven and serve these mouth watering prawns with your favourite chutney or mayo dip.
NOTE :
- In place of baking you can also shallow fry the marinated prawns with olive oil in a non stick pans.
