There are days when chicken or other forms of meat are missing or prohibited in our kitchens. One ingredient which works as a perfect substitution to any form of meat is soya chunk. Soya chunks are a very good source of proteins. Infact, the protein proportion of soya chunk is more than that of egg and milk. In this recipe we will be mashing the soya chunks with some other ingredients and frying them in form of lollipops to prepare a crunchy appetizer. Lets get started..

INGREDIENTS :
- Soya Chunks : 250 gms
- Bread : 2 pecies
- Garlic : 7-8 pods
- Ginger : 1 1/2 tbs ( chopped )
- Onion : 1 ( small )
- Oregano : 1/2 tbs
- Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tbs
- Salt : 1/2 tbs
- Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 tbs
- Turmeric Powder :
- Corn Flour : 1 tbs
- Corn Flakes : 200 gm
- Oil : 50 ml
STEPS FOR PREPARATION :
- Boil the soya chunks till it gets soft.
- In mixer add onion , garlic , ginger and salt bread , you can also add 1 tsp lemon juice to it. Grind all these ingredients and get a soft dough like paste.
- Add black pepper powder , oregano , turmeric powder , red chilli powder , corn flour to the paste and mix them properly.
- Make small balls out of the soya paste and keep it aside.
- In a plate take some crushed corn flakes and roll the soya balls in it.
- Insert the stick ( you can use tooth pick as I used ) in the soya balls that are already rolled with the corn flakes so that it looks like a lollipop.
- Shallow fry the lollipops in a frying pan till it gets golden brown.
- Serve these delicious dish with green chutney or any other dip of your choice.
